The Glenburn Parks and Rec will kick off this year's Lakeside Landing Summer Music Series, with music, food and fun, Friday June 19th.
Usually the concerts are held on Thursdays, weather permitting, right down at the Lakeside Landing Park on Lakeside Landing Road in Glenburn.

This year, they're making an exception for their inaugural show which will be held on a Friday.
The food trucks run from 5-8 PM on concert nights, and the music runs from 5:30-8:30 PM.
The musical due "Just Us" will provide the sounds, while food vendors Nate & OIlies and No Bones Grill will serve up supper for sale.

There's no admission, but parking is limited in the area of the park. You'll definitely want to get there early, bring your lawn chairs, your bug spray and if you feel like taking a dip in Pushaw Lake, grab your swimsuit.

This year they're also adding something special, just for their opening night, and it's for a really great cause.
"This year, we are including our Charity Market of Love. There will be about 1-dozen vendors, yard sale section, with a portion of all proceeds going to the local Autism Society. Darlings Ice Cream Truck will also be here from 5-7pm, with all those proceeds going to the cause."

Thursday July 9th the series will feature the musical stylings of Brook & Haley, with food for sale from Lucy Q's and McPhee concessions.
Thursday July 23rd, local rockers CEO & Company will play the park, with Brick & Embers offering up some tasty treats.
Richie K and Triple Threat will be there August 6th, with Lil' Piggy and McPhees.
Highway 207 and Curbside Eats will keep you entertained and fed on Thursday August 13th.

And the series will wrap up on Thursday August 20th with a performance by Six Ways to Sunday, with Brick & Embers making a repeat appearance to round out the food portion of the evening.

Dogs are welcome at the park, as long as you clean up after them. There are picnic tables on site, and there's a small playground as well. There's also direct access to the water if you want to boat or swim.

Following the Summer Concert Series kickoff Friday, is a huge community celebration slated for Saturday June 20th.
