
Bucksport High School Class of 2026’s Honor Parts
The Bucksport High School Class of 2026 will graduate this Friday, June 5th, with graduation taking place at the High School at 5 p.m.
Bucksport High School's Class Night will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:00 p.m.

Here are the Bucksport Class of 2026 Honor Parts.
Valedictorian - Lydia Paige Carter


Addison Jean Goss, daughter of Jonathan and Brandy Goss of Bucksport, will graduate with a GPA of 99.4. Goss plans to attend Husson University this fall and major in accounting. During high school, Goss participated in many clubs and extracurricular activities, including soccer, basketball, track, student council, and National Honor Society. Goss’s academic awards include outstanding achievement in freshman English, fitness for life, Spanish, forensics, marine science, and A.P. English Literature and Composition. Athletically, Goss has received many accolades, including being part of the Varsity Girls’ Soccer State Championship team, the state champion 4x400 relay team and a certificate of participation for the New England track meet. During Goss’ sophomore year, she received awards for second-team midfielder, all-defense basketball, first-team 4x400 relay, second-team 400m dash, second-team 100m hurdles, state champion 4x400 relay and New England outdoor track participant. Junior year, she received additional athletic awards, including first-team soccer, all-star soccer, Northern Maine state team, Eastern Maine Sports girls soccer player of the year, state champion 4x100 relay, state champion girls’ track team and New England outdoor track participant. Goss has also been named Girls Soccer Player of the Year, PVC Girls Soccer All-Conference First Team and Girls Soccer All-Star.
First Honors Essayist Jack David Morrison

Jack David Morrison, son of Matthew and Emily Morrison of Orland, will graduate with a GPA of 98.7. Morrison plans to attend the University of New England, where he will major in secondary education and English literature. During high school, Morrison has participated in many clubs and extracurricular activities including soccer, basketball, outdoor track, pep band, jazz band and National Honor Society. To date, Morrison has received many awards, including the Saint Michael’s Book Award, student of the month, excellence in honors biology, Honors U.S. History, Honors Sophomore English, A.P. English Literature and Composition, A.P. Biology and French. Morrison has received first-team all-conference honors in soccer, senior all-star honors in both soccer and basketball and two-time all-defensive team honors in basketball.
Second Honors Essayist Lindsey Elaine Carrier

Lindsey Elaine Carrier, daughter of Victoria and William Carrier Jr. of Orland, will graduate with a GPA of 98.6. Carrier plans on attending Merrimack College in the fall, where she will major in biochemistry. During high school, Carrier has participated in many clubs and extracurricular activities, including outdoor track, the National Technical Honor Society and SkillsUSA Biotechnology Quiz Bowl. Carrier has received many awards, including a silver in the SkillsUSA Biotechnology Quiz Bowl, the Bucks Standard award and outstanding achievement in A.P. Biology.
