
Maine Teens Shooting at a House Nearly Hit a Man and Child
One of three suspects in a scary shooting at an occupied house is also suspected of shooting at a home in Alna.
One of Three Suspects in Wiscasset, Maine Shooting is a Suspect in Alna Incident
The suspects have been identified as three teens:
- Jacob McInnis Jr., 18, of Whitefield
- Camden Larrabee, 18, of Sabattus
- Caleb Busby, 18, of Bremen
All three are charged with aggravated criminal mischief and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, which are both Class C felony offenses.
McInnis faces the same charges for allegedly shooting at a newly purchased home in Alna. No one was home at the time of that shooting.
Maine Police Say 2 People Were in a House That Was Shot at in Wiscasset
These new charges stem from an incident on January 13, 2026. Wiscasset Police responded to a report of a residence being shot at on Old Sheepscot Road just after 5:30 pm.
An adult male and his juvenile son were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Officials say one of the rounds struck the front door of the house, shattering the outer storm door glass, penetrating the metal door, and entering the living room of the home less than 10 feet from where the man and child were sitting.
Fortunately, neither occupant was hurt.
Wiscasset, Maine Police Ask for Info on Shooting on Old Sheepscot Road
As the investigation continued, Lincoln County deputies responded to an unrelated incident in Whitefield. Those deputies uncovered evidence that potentially linked the Wiscasset shooting to a similar incident in Alna.
