Maine Officials Confirm a Body Found in Greenbush is Jeremy Hill

Maine's Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of a man whose body was found in the Penobscot River.

The Greenbush Man Had Been Missing Since Early April

Jeremy Hill, 47, of Greenbush had been missing for several weeks when his body was discovered in the water. His cause of death has not yet been released.

Maine's Chief Medical Examiner Confirmed the Identity of the Deceased

Officials did not immediately release the identity of the deceased until the Chief Medical Examiner's Office could conduct an investigation. Today, the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the deceased man is Jeremy Hill.

He Was Found on May 5th, After Weeks of Searches

The Sheriff's Office had received a missing person complaint on April 18th, 2024. At that point, Hill had been missing for several days. Searches were conducted and officials asked for the public's help locating Hill, but there was no sign of him until May 5th, when he was found in the Penobscot River.
