Measles have been confirmed in Maine by the Maine CDC on May 20th.

The Somerset County child who contracted it was vaccinated, had complications but is now doing much better.  How the child contracted Measles is unknown.

Below are places and times were potential exposures of this case of Measles have happened.

Madison Junior High School: Between 7 AM and 5 PM on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 30th
  • Wednesday, May 1st
  • Thursday, May 2nd
  • Friday, May 3rd
  • Thursday, May 2nd between 2:30 PM - 7 PM
  • Saturday, May 4th between 7 AM - Noon

Madison Area Memorial High School:  Between 9 AM and noon on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 30th
  • Wednesday, May 1st
  • Friday, May 3rd

Waterville Pediatrics: Thursday, May 2nd from 7:50 AM - 10:15 AM

  • Saturday, May 4th from 9:30 PM - Midnight
  • Sunday, May 5th from Midnight - 2:15 AM
  • Monday, May 6th from 2:25 PM - 5:25 PM
