It's always a good time when the Shriners are in town, especially when they parade through the streets.

The go-karts, the miniature trucks, and of course the famous Shrine clowns, they'll all be there on Saturday, June 19th, in Brewer,  The parade will step off at 11 a.m. sharp, and you'll want to be there with the entire family for the spectacle and the laughs.

The Shriners will be gathering prior to the parade on Liberty Drive, and when the parade officially starts they'll take a left onto Parkway South.  The parade will then proceed to the intersection of Parkway South and Pendleton Street, before finally ending at the Brewer Community School.

The Anah Shrine 2021 Summer Ceremonial will take place between Thursday, June 17th and that Saturday, June 19th.  Shriners will have events at Hermon Meadows Golf Course, Jeff's Catering in Brewer, the Anah Shrine on Broadway in Bangor, and the Hilton Garden Inn.

But of course the highlight for the general public will be when the boys hit the streets of Brewer, and we're all hoping for good weather that day so that a good time can be had by all, both Shriners and spectators.  Events like this don't happen very often, and they certainly didn't happen during this past year of the nasty COVID-19 pandemic, so here's an opportunity to see and do something special.
