Guy Makes ‘Duck Of Justice’ Travel Film … And It’s Pretty Epic!
Here in our little corner of the United States, there are plenty of things we're known for: Lobsters, moose, blueberries, Stephen King, pine trees, Paul Bunyan, lighthouses...heck many folks know us as "that state that's part of Canada?!" (even though we're not!)
But for one man, who lives hundreds of miles away, Maine's claim to fame is something completely different...and it inspired him to travel up the east coast to pay homage to what he thinks is the biggest draw to the pine-tree state...a duck.
Steven Myat is a filmmaker/content creator/influencer. But before any of these things, Steven Myat is a lover of ducks.
And when he heard the tale of Bangor's own "Duck Of Justice", Myat knew he had to make the journey to Maine, to witness for himself, the "Duck" in all its glory.
Lucky for us, Myat documented his journey, and put together a short flick he titled:
I Travel 640 Miles To Find The "Duck Of Justice" | A Travel Film
I did spy a quick cameo by one of Bangor PD's own, the "Queen of the Front Desk" (Melody), as she leads Myat back to finally meet, face-to-bill, with Bangor's unofficial mascot.
We tend to take for granted some of the small things that mean big things to folks around the world. This man was drawn, by a duck, to visit our great state. From the look of pure joy and excitement on his face, when he was finally able to lay his eyes on the duck...now that's priceless.
You can watch for yourself Myat's reaction.
The folks at Bangor PD, where the Duck of Justice lives, have this to say about Myat's film:
"There have been many who journeyed to see the Marginally World Famous Bangor Duck of Justice.
