Globetrotting Texas Couple Visit Acadia National Park

Ashley & Jordan are truly living their best life!

A married couple from Texas, named Ashley & Jordan, are living the dream to say the least. In early 2019, after saving money for two years, they got off the daily 9-5 grid, for a full year and traveled all over the world, with stops in Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, Germany, New Zealand, Prague, and the United Kingdom, just to name a few. The have a cool travel channel that highlights all their experiences, with almost 12,000 followers!

The duo posted an impressive mini movie of their trip to Bar Harbor, and the beautiful, iconic, Acadia National Park. Not only was it their first trip to ,Maine, but it was also their first visit to a U.S. National Park, which is hard to believe, considering some of the places they have visited.

Things start off with a 2 mile hike up Beehive Trail. I have personally done this, and it's a daunting task, since you are heading up the side of a mountain. If you have a fear of heights, this ain't for you my friend. However, the visuals are stunning, and it is the perfect place to get a great look at the Atlantic Ocean.

Then lunch follows in Bar Harbor, at the Side Street Cafe, for their mind blowing mac & cheese, and Maine blueberry pie. Yum!

Before leaving, a trip to the gorgeous Ocean Path Trail, along with a stop at Thunder Hole, which is an absolute must for any visiting tourist. Then as long as you are in Maine, why not take a drive to Cape Elizabeth, to see the world famous, Portland Head Lighthouse, and before leaving, a trip to Sarah's favorite place in the world, Holy Donut.
