One of the best things about summer in Maine is the down-home celebrations we get to take part in. And one such celebration is happening right next door to Bangor this weekend!

It's a free day of family fun in Glenburn Saturday, as the Glenburn Community Festival kicks off the summer season! The day starts at 9AM and ends at 10PM, with a great fireworks display. Everything takes place right at the Glenburn Elementary School, except the parade, which will start at the Dollar General and end at the school. They'll have games and activities for kids, a motorcycle and car show, a craft fair, live music featuring the Josh Guthrie Experience and a chicken BBQ. There's plenty of parking and no admission charge.
