Game Wardens Searching For Info About Killed Deer In Mt. Vernon
The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife put up a Facebook post asking for information about an incident that happened in Mt. Vernon in October.
The post states that an incident in Mt. Vernon has game wardens looking for someone who may have illegally shot a deer and left it. They are offering a $1000 dollar award for a lead that leads to conviction.
The post speaks of the specifics of the case:
On October 21, 2018, game wardens responded to the Bean Road in Mount Vernon to investigate the report of a dead deer in a field. During the investigation, it was determined that the large male whitetail deer was likely killed illegally and left to waste.
