If you are looking for a good excuse to get outside and enjoy the (hopefully) warm spring air then check out this fun event coming to Dover-Foxcroft.

A morning Birdwalk is happening Saturday, May 11th at the Law Farm located at 22 Lee Cemetery Road in Dover-Foxcroft.

Birding expert, Bob Duchesne, will be leading folks on a hike to discover and uncover the birds of Maine.

The event will start first thing on Saturday at 8 AM where participants will be hiking out to the wetland observation deck of the farm then and taking a one mile nature trail at the Looping Trail.

After all the exercise, one lucky person will have nice parting gift because at the end of the workshop, one hiker's name will be drawn for a free bluebird house so you can do bird watching from home.

Bring binnoculars, sturdy hiking boots and a camera and register for the walk by May 8th by calling (207)564-2321 x 3 or email info@piscataquisswcd.org.
