Four people face charges after police discovered more than $11,000 in heroin and crack cocaine at a residence on Verona Island Tuesday night.

The residents of the home, Robert Maddocks and Heather Goden, face felony charges of unlawful tafficking of heroin and crack cocaine.

Two people from Massacusetts -- Cyntoine D. Sloan, 34 of Worcester, and Rebecca Atamian, 28, of Fitchburg -- also face the same charges.

Agents with the Downeast Drug Task Force based in Ellsworth conducted the investigation, which included the undercover purchase of crack cocaine.

Agents also found $3,163 in cash at the home at  343 East Side Drive. The cash is the suspected proceeds from drug sales, according to police.

Drug agents say the drugs were being sold on the island and in the Bucksport area.

All of the suspects were taken to the Hancock County Jail.
