New Five Below Store in Bangor, Maine Is Officially Open

It’s Official — Five Below Is Now Open in Bangor!

As 2026 rolls on, new businesses continue popping up across the Greater Bangor area — and one of the most anticipated additions has officially arrived.

Five Below, the popular discount retail chain known for its “Hot prices. Cool stuff.” slogan, is now open in Bangor.

What Is Five Below?

Five Below is a specialty discount retailer offering trendy products at affordable prices. Most items are priced at $5 or less, though the store also carries select products priced up to $25.

The chain is especially popular with tweens and teens, but shoppers of all ages can find something fun, useful, or unexpected inside.

Founded in 2002, Five Below has expanded rapidly and now operates more than 1,700 stores across 44 states nationwide. Think of it as a modern spin on the classic discount store — packed with trending products, seasonal finds, and impulse buys.

The new Bangor location is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is located at 480 Stillwater Avenue, in the former Party City space.
