February Father-Daughter Dance In Bangor Still Creating Memories
Calling all dads, step-dads, grand-dads and/or uncles: Bangor Parks and Rec will once again be putting on a Father-Daughter Dance this February.

If you have a daughter in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade, this is an opportunity for you to make a pretty great memory.
According to the event Facebook Page, the "Valentine Daughter Dance" will take place Saturday, February 5 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Organizers say the only way to get tickets to the event is to buy them directly at the Parks and Rec building, as they won't be sold at the door or online.
"MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT WHEN IN THE BUILDING. SEATING IS LIMITED. THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT. To purchase tickets, go to Bangor Parks and Recreation 647 Main St. Bangor."
The cost is $30 per couple for residents (and are on sale now), whereas the price for non-residents is $40, and those tickets will go on sale on January 21. If you have more than one daughter to bring, there is another charge.
Aside from being a great excuse for your young ladies to get all dolled up, an event like this is a great chance to give your girls the experience of what being on a date "should" be like. In our family, we pair the dance with dinner and then dessert after. My girls always look forward to the dance and are on countdown for it several months in advance.
