When a dead Minke whale washed up onto the shore of Old Orchard Beach back in late July, scientists at the University of New England identified the bite marks on the carcass as being those of a Great White shark.  Guess that they were correct.

Check out this awesome drone footage posted to Facebook by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy in Massachusetts.  It shows a Great White shark circling the same carcass as it floats in the ocean water somewhere off the coast of Maine.

Eventually, the dead whale ended up washing up onto Old Orchard Beach about a mile south of the famous pier, according to the Portland Press Herald.
