How would you like to help build homes for local families in need, all by drinking beer?

That's the concept of a new program Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor launched this week.

According to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor Facebook Page, The HabiTap Passport program works like this:

"Buy your HabiTAP for Humanity 'Beer Passports' before they all go!
Your $40 purchase (tax included) is redeemable for one beer at participating breweries.
Passports are valid for a limited time. All Passport holders who complete their Passport by May 31, 2023 will be able to enter their cards for a grand prize at the HabiTAP closing celebration!"

So, essentially, you're paying $40 for 10 beers, and you get to help a great cause in the process. What's not to feel good about?!

According to their website, all the money raised from the sale of the specialty passports will go to help local Habitat builds.

"All funds raised from this year's HabiTAP for Humanity campaign go toward the construction of the next Habitat home already underway in the Bangor Region."
