He's not wrong!

Here we are, almost two years into a massive pandemic, and we have another fad that is occupying the attention of millions. "Wordle" gives players six chances to guess a randomly selected five-letter word. A letter that isn't in the word in any spot shows up gray. You can enter a total of six words, meaning you can enter five other words from which you can learn hints about the letters and their placements. Seems like just about everyone on Facebook posts their results when they play.

In a funny Twitter exchange, Mal Myer, who is a reporter at WGME-TV in Portland, was not able to make the Maine CDC briefing yesterday, so he decided to have some fun and suggest that someone ask Dr. Nirav Shah an important question. And of course, the good doctor has an awesome sense of humor, so he replied to the inquiry, which prompted memories of some other memorable pandemic fads.

Everyone remembers the helpless feeling of the first few months of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was a confusing and scary time, not knowing what was going to happen from one day to the next. Luckily for all of us in Maine, we got a straight up rock star out of it. Dr. Shah has had such a unique way of making us all feel comforted, and connected in a very uncertain situation. He has brought such warmth, comfort, and fun, to a pretty unpleasant time.

The Z Morning Show had the unbelievable pleasure of getting to interview him. Thanks for being such a cool guy, now grab a Diet Coke, and take a well earned bow.
