Here comes summer and with it a great reason for getting outside and stretching the legs.

The state has lifted restrictions and anyone and everyone can participate in person at the Hancock County Relay for Life event this Saturday morning in Ellsworth.
Don Clark Memorial 5K Fun/Walk Run (June 5) registration is at 7 a.m. and the event run/walk event begins at 8 at the Acadia Area ATVers Club House location on the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Donation is $20 per person and $40 per family.  Everyone will be able to get a 5K Bib and there will also be medals for the first place participants for men, women and children.

All proceed go to the American Cancer Society. Every Dollar Makes a Difference. At Relay For Life no donation is too small, each and every dollar counts. Your donations help fund groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs, and can make a difference in communities like ours. With every donation, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives.

At Relay For Life events, no one faces cancer alone. All come together to support and celebrate survivors and caregivers. You can connect with others and know there is a strong support system available.
