Chuck E. Cheese Goes Grown Up! Is Maine Next?

Maine Gamers, Get Ready, Chuck’s Arcade Could Be Coming!

Just a few weeks ago, we were thinking about how cool it would be if a Dave & Buster's would come to Maine, especially here in Bangor, where things are getting a little stale.

That hasn't happened yet, but that massive national chain is now getting some competition!

The folks behind the iconic kids restaurant and arcade, are famous for throwing birthday parties for the little ones, but they have expanded to involve adults in on the fun.

Chuck's Arcade is a grown up arcade spin-off, that just launched 10 locations in the United States last month.

One of the 10 locations, just happens to be in Nashua, New Hampshire, at Pheasant Lane Mall. The other 9 are in Oklahoma, Georgia, Connecticut, Florida, New York, Missouri, California,
Texas and Missouri.

They plan on being a major national chain in the near future, meaning that a Maine location may not be that far off! Chuck E. Cheese has indicated that there are more on the horizon.

What is Chucks Arcade all about?

  • Games: A mix of new, cutting-edge arcade games, plus old school classics, like Ms. Pac‑Man, Donkey Kong, and Mortal Kombat
  • Prizes & merch: Customers can earn tickets at most locations and redeem them for prizes. Many venues also carry retro-themed Chuck’s Arcade merchandise
  • Food & drink: So far, most sites are arcade-only, but the Kansas City location has a full pizzeria menu, plus wings, and adult beverages like beer & wine

Fingers crossed for a location in the 207!
