It has been a mostly canceled season for so much and so many. Camp Capella is no exception.

“We had a summer where we didn’t collect any camper fees, and we also didn’t have any special events, things that help support camp that didn’t go on this year” Harvey Chesley from the camp said.

So to try to make up for as much of the revenue loss as possible, Camp Capella is organizing a charity online auction to take place December 4th to December 13th. Proceeds will benefit the summer camp programs. They are asking businesses and individuals to donate a product, service or gift certificate for your business or establishment. Your gift might be tax deductible. To help out, get in touch with Harvey at (207) 314-0637.  Or Harvey@campcapella.org

Harvey told Q106.5, “We have promised that, in some manner, we’re going to be prepared to run camp, in some form, next summer so that our families don’t miss another year of something that means so much to them”

Camp Capella is the lakefront summer camp in Dedham, that provides diverse recreational and educational opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
