New business alert!

I can't lie, I have a fairly huge obsession with food trucks. I really get obsessed when there are multiple trucks in one space at the same time, so it goes without saying that I have spent more than a few days on the Bangor Waterfront, grabbing lunch.

Food trucks have existed since as early as the 1930s, but they gained their true popularity in more recent decades, after the 2008 recession.

At any given time, there are a multitude of trucks out on the streets in the state of Maine, but one is taking it to the brick & mortar level.

Ladies and gentleman...I give you the “Salsa Shack”

Salsa Shack is a popular Ellsworth area food truck, that serves up delicious Maine Street Tacos & Nachos, next month they will open up a restaurant at 84 Main Street, in Bucksport, which is former Friar’s/My Buddy’s Place location.
