Welcome DECU to Wilson Street in Brewer, Plus a Bonus
Last time I drove by it was not yet opened. But that was weeks ago. If you remember the announcement of what that building was going to be as it was being built after the Cigaret Shopper store was knocked down, it seems like that was forever ago.
And it was.

But due to the pandemic and supply chain issues it took a long time to build, but now a year later that’s all behind us, and downeast Credit Union Banking and Insurance has opened at 460 Wilson Street in Brewer.
Down East Credit Union or DECU also has seven other locations in Maine, and has been around for 80 years. They were a winner of Best Places to Work in Maine for the past 5 years.
Bonus
As you see in the photo above there is another business in that building listed on the exterior sign.
Touchdown Cuts has opened. Specializing in Men’s Cuts – Walk-ins Welcome
Veronica is the owner operator of Touchdown Cuts. She worked downeast, but lives in Brewer and has opened her own shop. She is in the process of building new clientele.
