Big Time Rush, the boy band that spawned a Nickelodeon series of the same name (or vice-versa), will return to the Bangor waterfront this summer, much to the delight of tweeny bopper girls everywhere.

The band, made up of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena, Jr., and Logan Henderson, will be joined by fellow Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice for the Wednesday, July 24, 2013 show at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.

Big Time Rush last played the waterfront in 2012 with Cody Simpson, drawing a big crowd on that Labor Day weekend.

The band is currently working on its third album, set for release this summer. The album will feature new music that will debut on the TV series, "Big Time Rush," which averages 3.6 million viewers.

Victoria Justice, whose Nickelodeon series "Victorious" recently won its second Kids' Choice Award for Favorite TV Series, is working on a solo album. Her single, "Freak the Freak Out," has been certified gold and she has sold more than 3.6 million digital downloads.

Tickets for the Bangor show will go on sale starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 6 and will be available at Waterfront Concerts, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 or the venue box office located at Mark’s Music in Brewer. Ticket prices for the Bangor show range from $31.75 to $87.75.
