Anyone up for "Nothin' But A Good Time" in Bangor next summer?

In the last several years, Bangor has become a huge concert destination. Some of the biggest acts in music have come to town, and there are no signs of that slowing down anytime soon.

We are already getting spoiled, with the Maine Savings Amphitheater announcing shows for the 2024 season, and they have added another to the list for next September!

Get ready for a blast of 90's retro rock, when Brett Michaels comes to the Maine Savings Amphitheater, on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, along with special guests, Warrant, Firehouse, and Dee Snider!

Tickets go on sale, this Friday morning at 10am, with a pre-sale on Thursday, from 10am-10pm. You can get your tickets here

Brett is the front man of Poison, who has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, and 15 million records in the United States. The band has also charted 10 singles to the Top 40,including six Top 10 singles and a number-one single, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn". He also has several solo albums to his credit, and who could forget his VH-1 reality show "Rock of Love".

There was a time in the early 90's where you couldn't turn on MTV, without seeing a Warrant video. They first hit it big, with their double platinum album "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich" which featured a #1 song, "Heaven". They had another double platinum album "Cherry Pie", which included that hit, and it's racy video. The band has been through several lineup changes, since original lead singer, Jani Lane, passed away, back in 2011.

The show announcements keep coming, so it looks like another amazing year of concerts will be headed to Bangor in 2024!

Huge list of "Cool Stuff" that kids in the 80's and 90's were all about.

Everything from the 80's and 90's screams "Cool!". Ok, looking back at photos of kids in their bright neon shorts and Hypercolor shirts where their armpits were pitted out, that really doesn't look all that "cool" today but if you were a kid back then, we sure felt like we knew style. Go through the list and see how many of these items you had in your room or used back in the day.
