Bangor’s Challenger Learning Center this Summer

If you think about it, your child might someday travel to Mars.  Or at least the Moon.  With Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos talking about space travel becoming as realistic as airplane travel is today, who knows. With that being said, maybe this summer your child is ready for some inspiration to stir the mind and learn all about outer space.

Summer classes for The Challenger Learning Center of Maine in Bangor are now forming. It is time to book a challenger in person Rocket program for your summer school, rec group, camp, or library.  Stem focused fun, and it comes to you. It is a one hour, hands on engineering design challenge that can be done inside or outside.  Students will work through the engineering design process and build a NASA themed rocket. All made out of paper.  And it is a program that can be altered to engage students from 1^st to 8^th grade.  You can book here and dates are available for late June and in July and August.

Challenger Summer Camp 2021 also has scheduled a virtual camp called Science University for students entering grades 3, 4, and 5. The camp experiment kit includes slime making and kitchen chemistry.  And class that includes slime certainly gets attention. Also covered living and working in space, and other stem learning topics that help engage your student this summer.
