Avenged Sevenfold has canceled the remainder of its summer tour, including its scheduled July 28 performance at the Impact Music Festival in Bangor.

The tour, which included performances with Prophets of Rage, was canceled due to illness. Neither band will play in Bangor as a result.

The concert's promoter on Friday announced Chevelle would headline Saturday's show. Three Days Grace also was added to the bill.

The Impact Music Festival is July 27-29 on the Bangor Waterfront. it will feature performances from Slayer, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Anthrax and more.

The festival's mission is to support of suicide prevention and mental health awareness. A percentage of the proceeds go to Music Matters, a Maine-based, nonprofit organization focused on mental health awareness, education and suicide prevention.
