Orono Theater Company Holds Auditions for RENT

Time to brush up on your Broadway show tunes!

Some Theatre Company has ended its musical run of CARRIE, based off of the infamous Stephen King book. This show will be directed by Elaine Bard with music direction by Jason Wilkes. They are now looking to produce the modern classic Broadway show RENT. They are looking for talented actors to bring this show to the stage in Orono.

Do you want to be in this show?  Any Broadway fan would be!

If you don't know what RENT is then you have some catching up to do. This play changed the landscape of modern Broadway in the '90s by telling the story of young artists living in New York City during the AIDS/HIV epidemic in the '80s.

Auditions are being held at Some Theatre Company's HQ, the Keith Anderson Community House in Orono on the following dates and times:

• December 3rd @ 1pm
• December 4th @ 6pm
• December 6th -- FOR CALLBACKS AND NEW AUDITIONEES WHO COULD NOT MAKE SUN OR MON
