ARTober Coming to Bangor In October

The fifth year of Downtown Bangor's month long art event is coming back this October.
October was designated as the City of Bangor's "Month of the Arts" in 2015 to spotlight and give attention to Bangor's diverse creative talent.
In the past, there have been dozens of events held throughout the month that includes workshops, art shows, dance and music performances as well as movie screenings, all coordinated to share Bangor's artistic cultures.
The month brings together the businesses, organizations, groups and solo artists that create or support the creative in the Queen City.

The first event to get the month started will be the Kickoff Celebration taking place Friday, October 4th at Bangor Arts Exchange on Exchange Street in Downtown Bangor.  Check out more about this particular event on the 'ARTober Kickoff Celebration' event page on Facebook.
If you are an organization, group or artist looking to be apart of the festivities, 'City of Bangor ARTober' on Facebook is accepting submissions for the upcoming, month-long event.
