5 Fun Easter Things This Weekend For the Kids In the Bangor Area

Looking for ways to get the kids out and have some fun this weekend for Easter? While most events are trying to avoid the actual holiday on Sunday, you'll be able to find plenty of things to do in the Bangor area both Saturday and Sunday to visit with the Easter bunny and do some egg hunting.

Here are a few things to do with the kids this weekend for fun Easter doings in the Bangor, Brewer, Newport, Stockton Springs, and in Newburgh.

SATURDAY Stockton Springs

Not only will the Easter bunny be seen at Stockton Springs but he'll be hitching a ride with the fire department in his own little parade for this event. On Saturday, a parade will begin around 9:30 AM in the little town. After his tour, he'll be settling in at the gazebo behind the town office and library to take pictures until about 11 AM. More details about his route and about the event can be found on the Facebook event page.

SATURDAY Hero's, Bangor

The Easter Bunny will be stopping by for kiddos (and those young at heart) to get a picture with the fluffy fella. He'll be hopping by between 11 AM and 1 PM. Check out the Facebook event page which also includes special prices for his visit.

SATURDAY Her Closet Consignment Boutique, Newport

The Easter Bunny will be busy on Saturday because those around the Newport area will be welcoming him to this business between 11 AM and 2 PM. Kids will be able to take a picture with the Easter bunny. You can follow this event on Facebook and see what kind of specials and deals they will be featuring in-store.

SATURDAY Bangor Area Recovery Network, Brewer

This 8-hour event titled 'Spring Out of Winter' has something for the kids and something for the adults. Kicking off at 2 PM, this event will feature an Easter egg hunt and face painting at the Bangor Area Recovery Network building in Brewer. The Easter bunny will be stopping by and there will be lots of games for the kids. Later on, there will be a spring fling event, starting at 7 PM and going until 10 PM. SUNDAY Bread of Life Community Church, Newburgh

On Sunday, this event will have the kiddos searching for eggs with their Easter egg hunt. Details explain that there are golden eggs to find in this special hunt. This is a fundraiser to build a playground at the church. You can find out more about the fundraiser at the Facebook event page.
