25 More Bangor Then and Now Photos From Google Street View

Recently, we presented 25 now and then photos for a side-by-side comparison of what the Bangor area has seen transformed in the past 15 years or so. There were so many comparisons to be seen that we are back with 25 more now and then comparisons.

The last gallery was focused on a lot of changes seen on Stillwater Avenue and on Main Street in Bangor. We've seen a lot of changes in these parts of Bangor but there are plenty more views and transformations to see, including changes to signage, the interstate, and even a castle house that may bring back some nostalgia for those who grew up in the Bangor area.

Like we said with the last time we presented comparisons of Bangor then and now, we used the Google Street View tool that allows you to see prior uploads of Google's street views. These images go back to 2007 for Bangor with newer photos/street views being added periodically throughout the years. The last update seemed to be in 2019, at least for the Bangor area so, we might be seeing the little car and camera around pretty soon for new street views.

This list is a little more focused on individual changes to buildings, signs, parts of roads but does have a few landscape-changing comparisons for you to take in. We focus again on the Main Street area, some Stillwater and Broadway locations but also a few side streets and businesses that represent icons of the Bangor area, whether we thought about them that way or not.
