Woman’s Ridiculous Reason for Not Having a Job — ‘I’m Too Attractive’

If you think you’re just too darned pretty to work, then you should either apply to be on the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise or do what one woman in Britain does.

Laura Fernee hasn’t had a job for two years because she claims her good looks are too distracting, which still puts her several years behind any female with the last name ‘Kardashian.’

Fernee, who worked at a research lab from 2008-2011, said she had to quit because she couldn’t take the chatter about how beautiful she is:

I’m not lazy and I’m no bimbo. The truth is my good looks have caused massive problems for me when it comes to employment, so I’ve made the decision that employment just isn’t for me at the moment. It’s not my fault…I can’t help the way I look.”

Bear with us a moment while we cue up the violin music.

Fernee’s words on this topic are a grab-bag of hilarity. Here are some other pearls of wisdom:

  • “I would say whilst I was at work I underwent some negative situations relating to how I looked, and the overall effect made me feel quite traumatized.”
  • [On female co-workers]: They “assumed [that] because I was pretty, I was stupid, so didn’t take me seriously at first and, because of their own insecurities, were jealous of my looks.”
  • “I know people will judge me for choosing not to work but they are underestimating just what a curse good looks can be in the workplace. Everyone thinks it must be great to be attractive but there are serious downsides.”

Fernee doesn’t have a sugar daddy to finance her lavish lifestyle. No, she has a sugar daddy and a sugar momma. Yup, her parents have no problem paying $3,000 a month for rent and nearly $2,300 on clothes.

Which is odd because she doesn’t have a job, so why exactly does she need such nice duds?
