What is the horror King truly afraid of?

The answer: Big crowds, which is what awaited him on his first USO tour. Germany’s Ramstein Air Base played host to the 90 minute talk with Stephen. More than 350 service members and their families watched as King spoke of the funny life events that inspired some of his books, from 'Cujo' to 'It.'

Before his show King visited wounded service members at Landstuhl and spoke to soldiers in the Army’s substance abuse program. King found speaking to the soldiers to be a very rewarding experience. As a recovered alcoholic and drug addict King has first hand experience with the struggles with addiction.

King made the USO stop between visits to Paris and two cities in Germany. King is promoting his book 'Doctor Sleep' on his first European book tour.
