Pop Stars React to Hurricane Sandy
Hurricane Sandy is barreling up the East Coast, and it's slated to be one of the worst storms in history. Extreme flooding and wind gusts of 60-90 miles per hour are expected, and combined with the full moon, high tides will be higher than ever. Widespread flooding and power outages are likely, and celebs are taking note.
Some famous folk gave practical advice, including Missy Elliott, while others offered thoughts and prayers, like New York City native Jennifer Lopez. Ricky Martin even took photos of the fall foliage -- the calm before the storm -- in New York, where he resides while performing on Broadway's revival of 'Evita.'
Below are a collection of Sandy-related pop celeb tweets. It's good to know that they're thinking of everyone on the East Coast, because we are too. Stay safe!
