The manhunt for a New Hampshire man who's suspected of killing his wife ended when he was found dead in Rumford, Maine.

Maine State Police say a manhunt was launched for 52-year-old Denis Bisson after his wife, Angie, was found shot to death in a Berlin, New Hampshire home. An arrest warrant had been issued for Bisson for a charge of second degree murder.

In a joint effort between Maine and New Hampshire State Police, information was released to the public to be on the lookout for Bisson and his pickup truck that were believed to have been in the Rumford-Mexico, Maine area. The manhunt ended late Friday night in Rumford.

Bisson shot himself along the banks of the Androscoggin River. Nearby residents heard a shot and called police who found his body about 11:30 pm.

More details on this case are expected later today.
