Justin Bieber Checks Out of a Paris Hotel – Either by Choice or by Force
We all know that Justin Bieber is super famous. Derp. So it’s safe to say that wherever he goes, he attracts hordes of screaming — and not always the most mature or in control of their faculties — fans.
Ergo, it’s a bit of a mystery that a swanky Paris hotel that’s accustomed to hosting celebrities wouldn’t be prepared for an onslaught of Beliebers when Justin’s team booked seven suites on two floors of the establishment. But that’s what happened.
Bieber came. The fans came. There was noise. There were crowds. Other people who paid beaucoup bucks to stay at the hotel were annoyed.
That’s when the Biebs either left or was asked to leave the hotel. The jury is out. And … so is he.
The story goes that one French TV host, Jean-Marc Morandini, wrote in a blog that Bieber and his entourage were kicked out of the Meurice Hotel, saying, “It was a decision taken by the management of the luxury hotel because of his attitude in the establishment, and because of the nuisance caused by the presence of his fans around the buildings.”
The more accurate tale, according to an Us Weekly source, is a bit different: “There were kids everywhere screaming and shouting, and the other guests didn’t like it. Justin was clearly encouraging his fans – that’s something he has to do.”
Okay, maybe that’s not such a different take on it after all.
Later, the Bieber posse was spotted checking into a different luxury hotel in Paris. But according to the insider, it was for security reasons, not because of behavior or “attitude” issues: “Justin was not kicked out of the hotel. He decided to transfer to the Mandarin Oriental when there wasn’t enough security at the hotel to control the crowds.”
“There wasn’t even an underground entrance for him at the other hotel and the security was too lax given the size of the crowds.”
Way to be, fancy Paris celebrity hotel. Maybe they should start asking how many screaming fans you intend to bring along when you book a room at Hotels.com.
