Bucksport Celebrates A New Town and New Year with First Ball Drop

You've seen the ball drop in Times Square, you may have been to the ball drop in Downtown Bangor, but now you can see the ball drop in Main St. Bucksport!

For the first time ever Bucksport will have its very own New Years Eve Ball Drop on Main St. The event will begin at 11:30PM with refreshments and entertainment in the street across from the Hayward House.

Verona Wine and Design will be hosting a diner before the event and tickets are available here. They have teamed up with folks from Wahl's Dairy Port and other community members to ring in not only the new year but also a new beginning for the town after suffering the loss of the Verso Mill.
