Crews spent part of the night battling an apartment house fire on Warren Street in Bangor.

The call came in just after midnight of a multi-unit building on fire. When crews arrived, the flames were on the first floor, but quickly spread through the walls to the second and third floors. Firefighters started working inside the building but, once the fire started to spread, had to battle it from the outside.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The State Fire Marshal's Investigators will be on hand today to try and determine how the fire started.
