Bangor Police Say Bear Seen In The City

Bangor Police say a bear was spotted in a residential part of the city on Saturday.

The BDN reports the Maine Warden Service responded on Saturday to a report of a bear. According to Bangor Police, there were several reports of bear sightings in the area of Hammond and Plaisted Streets. A Warden arrived in the area at around two o'clock Saturday afternoon.

There are no details about whether the bear was found.
