March 24 - March 30: See how Michael Jackson, Madonna, Soundgarden, Ashanti, Weezer, Nas and Mariah Carey marked this week in history for the past 30 years in pop music.

1991 - MJ and Madge

The Academy Awards' red carpet is graced by pop royalty when Michael Jackson escorts Madonna to the ceremony.

1994 - Soundgarden

A diverse selection of tunes top the charts including Nine Inch Nails, Ace of Base and Seattle rockers Soundgarden, who have the #1 album in the U.S. Superunknown.

2005- Weezer

The alt-rock darlings, Weezer, release their first single of their album Make Believe, "Beverly Hills", complete with ultimate Playboy, the now deceased, Hugh Hefner.

2014 - Nas

Nas performs his album Illmatic with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in New York City.  It is a performance for the One Mic: Hip-Hop Culture Worldwide festival.

2015 - Mariah Carey

The world is exposed to the first ever Carpool Karaoke on James Corden's late night show and features diva Mariah Carey.
