Relay for Life Hancock County is raising money for America Cancer Society this Saturday.  Cancer has touched so many people, including people we know. It can happen to you or a loved one. So with that being said, and after being cooped up for so long in our homes, both over the winter and for a lot longer due to Covid 19, this will be fun. And the weather looks like it will co-operate too.  Brandy Marchetti, who is a very active volunteer with Relay for Life of Hancock says:

“We’re proud to provide hope in the community that hasn’t had much opportunity to get out and participate in fun events like this one”

The event is a Community Yard Sale and Craft Fair, and it will be at Arcadia area ATV’ers, 3 Wyman Road in Hancock,  on the Downeast Sunrise Trail in Hancock County this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 3 p.m.

Donations for the sale are still being solicited and you can still rent a vendor table for the sale by reaching out to Brandy at hancockrelay@outlook.com. Spaces are 20 x 10, and you’ll need your own folding table and chair.  The cost is $25 table fee, and you keep the proceeds of what you sell.  That $25 table fee is a donation to the ACS/Relay for Life of Hancock Co, ME. The table fee will be waived if you are donating the proceeds from what you sell to the cause.

Also, there will be refreshments for sale including hamburgers and hot dogs.

If you are going to participate by getting a table don’t hesitate, there are only a few spaces remaining.

And if you are going to participate by shopping have fun, be safe, and a gentle reminder there will also be Relay for Life items for sale which is a great way to help the cause, and go home with some cool stuff.
