Just as warmer temperatures had Mainers thinking spring, a winter storm this weekend serves as a reminder that winter isn't officially over yet.

WABI-TV5 Meteorologist Jessica Conley says "It’s looking like totals will range mainly from 6-10” with lesser amounts on the coast and in far Southern Maine due to rain mixing in."

Conley says occasional light snow is possible Saturday morning. The snow should get heavier Saturday afternoon and taper off Sunday afternoon.

A winter storm watch is in effect from Saturday evening through Sunday evening.

The snow comes as Mainers were getting used to warmer temperatures. Bangor International Airport recorded a high temperature of 50 degrees on Wednesday.
