Hard to believe it now, but back in 1984, there was no Bangor Mall Cinemas, that didn't arrive until a year later. In those days, most people went to see movies in Brewer, where the Hannaford now stands...

Bangor's most famous resident is no fan of this flick! When Netflix added a new lineup of movies to their library at the beginning of the month, one title in particular, raised the ire of one, Stephen King. King is not afraid of voicing his opinions on just about any topic, one look at his social media feeds, and you will find that out pretty quickly...
