Creepy Clowns

Let me tell you up front, I don’t like clowns. This story gave me the heebie jeebies. An Auburn woman sitting on her porch scared off a clown in the back seat of a vehicle pointed his finger at her and mouthed the word ‘bang’ . According to the Sun Journal she then picked her legal 9mm and said ‘Back at ya, clown’ and the clown car sped away.

The creepy clown hysteria that is happening all across the country reached Maine on Monday with a sighting in Orono. The man who we may have to blame for our fear of clowns posted a message on his Facebook with his take on the hysteria.

Orono Police took to Facebook this week to assure residents that they're aware of clown sightings around town but don't believe there's any threat to the public.
