BAM is now open at a new location in Bangor!
Books-A-Million, also knowas as "BAM", has moved from their fromer location at 116 Bangor Mall Boulevard, to some new digs at 490 Stillwater Avenue, which is the fomrer location of Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Speaking with someone who was in Portland recently, they remarked on how the Maine Mall is absolutely thriving, which depressed me, because the heyday of Bangor Mall is long gone, but it got me thinking about how it could be fixed.
