Eastern Maine will see some snow Wednesday morning before cold air moves into the region later in the week, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

The forecast calls for 3-to-5 inches of snow for Bangor and Down East regions. The snow will then push north Wednesday afternoon. Forecasters advise that the afternoon commute could be slippery in those areas.

Once that system moves out, cold air will come into the region with temperatures only reaching into the teens on Friday and into the weekend.
