Registration Open for MAMM Slam Battle of the High School Bands

High school bands, DJ's and solo artists, wanna win $1,000?

The Maine Academy of Modern Music's annual battle of the bands is fast approaching. Teen bands and solo performers, including singers, songwriters and DJ’s, statewide battle it out for an awesome grand prize. Participants show off their skills in songwriting, performance, web presence, marketing and other aspects of being a professional musician.

The grand prize is $1,000, recording time, radio appearances, awesome gigs, a tour of Gateway Mastering and professional marketing direction.

The registration deadline is coming up on February 28. The preliminary round will be  April 11 at Bayside Bowl in Portland. The finals are May 9 at Asylum in Portland.
