Open Table MDI Needs Volunteers

With remote learning finishing up for the 2019-20 school year on Friday, June 5th you might have some extra time on your hands. If so, perhaps you will consider volunteering with Open Table MDI.

Open Table MDI continues to offer free meals on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bar Harbor Congregational Church. The model has shifted to take-out and delivery because of COVID-19 and the restrictions. They have a need for delivery drivers as well as prep personnel. Open Table MDI has been serving approximately 300 meals every Tuesday and Saturday. Prior to the pandemic, they were offering entertainment during the meals and had expanded to Southwest Harbor and Northeast Harbor with pop-up service.
