Here's some feel good for today.

A story of a police officer from Portsmouth, New Hampshire doing some good is going viral. Employees at a grocery store witnessed a woman shoplifting and called the cops. The routine investigation started by Officer Michael Kotsonis tracking down the woman. When he found out what she stole, the story takes a turn.

Turns out the woman stole Crisco and vanilla frosting intended for her daughters birthday cake. Officer Kotsonis took the stolen property back to the store where he then purchased the items for the woman in need.

Other officers tell CBS Boston 'it’s typical behavior for the 19-year veteran of the force.'

Although this story had a heartwarming ending please note, stealing is bad. Mmmmmkay.
