The Corinth Department of Recreation and RSU 64 have come up with a really fun way to raise money for school supplies--and it's taking place this weekend! Saturday afternoon from 12:30 to 3:30, there will be a massive NERF Battle Royale at the Corinth Rec. fields behind the Corinth Town Office. It's open to kids ages 8-15 years old. It's $10 per kid the day of the event, and they will have safety glasses on hand, as they are required to participate. Participants will also have to sign a waiver to play.

According to Don McCann of RSU 64, the Corinth community has done a stuff-the-bus event in August, in years past, but didn't raise as much as they had expected to in 2018. "We ended up short on supplies last year. So thought this would be something fun for the kids to do and raise some money to go towards school supplies and any other need the teachers may have."

If you'd like to volunteer for the event, they're looking for all the help they can get. And they're also looking for hay bails to use during the event, that can be returned after the day's activities. For more information, you can reach Don McCann through the Corinth Nerf Battle Royale FB page right here!

In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled to the next weekend (Saturday July 6th) at the same time and place. The event coordinators will make that call Saturday morning.
