
Step Into the Future of Holiday Lights at Maine’s, Gardens Aglow
So many Mainer’s are getting a jump start on their holiday festivities before Thanksgiving hits. Why? Well, why not. Magic fills the air during this season and why not spread it sooner then later.
However, for many of us, the magic doesn’t officially start until we walk along the glowing paths of Gardens Aglow.
The seasonal event is back and better then ever.
According to the Portland Press Herald, this year, they are attracting more attention then ever with there brand-new tech, displays, and whimsical charm that keeps more then 100,000 people coming back each and every year.
It’s the 11th year that the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay has leveled up the holiday spirit for Maine and beyond.
Get this: 750,000 plus LED lights, glowing sculptures, projected animations, and 3D-printed critters all sitting pretty within the pathways, as per the article.

Gardens Aglow Maine Officially Open Now through January 3
The theme this 2025 year is “Nature in Motion.”
This theme will create wildlife inspired sculptures, soundscapes, interactive displays, Maine's flora and fauna, and the entire path will be highlighted with fun creatures that call Maine home. Like caterpillars, waterfowl and beyond.
It will be like witnessing a storybook come to life. The best part of this years event is despite all of the upgrades, the show is sustainable.
